Whether you are going out for a date night on the town or staying in and making dinner for your sweetie; date nights are one of those times you just want to get all dolled up for your sweetie. I love experimenting with different colors and for me, it really just depends on my mood as to how dramatic I’m feeling like going!

You know what’s funny??? Although, we haven’t made any concrete plans for Valentine’s Day yet- I already know how I’m going to do my makeup~!!! Yes, that’s just how I roll. I can’t help it though, getting creative with makeup is so much fun!!! I’ll share with you the look I’m planning on doing for Valentine’s Day at the end of the post! So stay tuned!

Our normal tradition for Valentine’s Day (since we have kids) is to stay home and I usually make a special dinner and dessert for the family. We don’t want to exclude the kids from the Valentine’s celebrations, we love celebrating with them! A couple weeks later, my hubby will take me for a night out just the two of us, and then we’ll enjoy some alone time. So it’s the best of both worlds! Plus, we never have to worry about reservations, crowded, busy restaurants etc…
